Gather started with a desire to do things differently. Forged by the idea that the furniture industry could just be done better. Our guiding principles drive everything we do and hold us honest and true, no matter where the business grows and develops.

Trust and transparency is at the heart of our new way. We are the first furniture manufacturer using blockchain technology within our collection to ensure complete customer confidence that their furniture is produced within 60 miles of their home, made from sustainably managed native Ash timber.

Mindfully disrupting the status quo

Founded by three souls disillusioned by the furniture industry's endless reliance on cheap globally imported furniture, at the cost of all local skills and talent. We just knew there must be a better way to create and deliver beautiful, locally made furniture from British timber. 

And so Gather was born...

Henry

With over 20 years working at the very top of British furniture design there’s really not much Henry doesn’t know about how to make a piece of beautiful furniture that will last a lifetime. Now he’s using all the amazing creative skills he has honed to try and make a real difference to local makers and the planet we live in with Gather. Because with great power comes great responsibility to change things for the better in anyway you can.

Cassie

After many years in marketing telling other brands ‘stories’ to help them sell their cheap globally produced wares Cassie woke up one day and realised she needed to do something radical…to actually do the right thing and tell a real and authentic story about building a homewares brand with genuine honesty at it’s core.

Sarah

Every creative team needs someone that can actually focus everyone on the important stuff and that’s Sarah. With a history working in war zones across the world, Sarah brings all that she’s learnt from her time managing change in the military and beyond to make sure we deliver every promise we set out to. Champion for the makers community and main point of contact for all our amazing material suppliers Sarah is the moral compass to the gang.

We are blessed to have an incredible support network of friends, colleagues and family with a seriously helpful pool of skills. They have done so much to help us get Gather out there and we honestly couldn’t do it without them. We hope that as Gather grows this family will just keep getting bigger.
