A little bit about us...

Gather began with a quiet, persistent question: could the furniture industry be done better? Not faster, not cheaper. Just… better. More honest. More local. More kind to the planet, and to the people shaping the pieces we live with every day. We’re three founders, once part of the very industry we now hope to reshape. We left behind the status quo, mass imports, hidden costs, forgotten skills, to build something new.

Gather Design is more than furniture. It’s a movement.

Bringing manufacture home: Every piece is made within 60 miles of where it’s delivered, supporting a strong network of local makers throughout the UK.

Treading lightly: We use only materials with proven, responsible origins, like our Grown in Britain certified, sustainably managed native UK Ash.

Telling the truth: A small scannable chip in each piece shares its full story - where it came from, how it was made, and who made it.

By supporting our story, you’re standing with us. Together, we believe we can change this industry from the inside out. But we need your help to start this conversation. We’d love to tell you more about our furniture, this movement for change and our national network of makers.
